It is our pleasure and privilege to extend you a warm invitation to attend the AIIMS-PULMOCRIT 2015” : UPDATE IN PULMONARY, CRITICAL CARE, AND SLEEP MEDICINE at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India on the 31st January – 01st February, 2015. This Update is being organized by the Department of Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Disorders, AIIMS, New Delhi in collaboration with the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP). This invitation is well in advance to ensure your participation in the conference and also to facilitate your planning ahead. As you are all aware, Respiratory, Critical care and Sleep Medicine is making rapid advances with newer diagnostic and therapeutic modalities as well as mechanism of diseases. In this scenario, it is extremely difficult, but nevertheless necessary to keep abreast with all the latest developments. Hence we have planned this Update to bring to focus the recent advances in majority of common clinical conditions. It shall be our endeavor to put together a rigorous and stimulating scientific program consisting of lectures, symposia, debates on ongoing controversies, CPCs, as well as “How I do it” topics. The entire spectrum of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine and Critical Care shall be covered, including Obstructive and Interstitial lung diseases, Pulmonary Hypertension, Lung cancer, Pneumonia, Interventional Pulmonology, Sleep Disorders, Tuberculosis and others. Sleep medicine is an exciting and rapidly emerging field in respiratory medicine which is generating huge interest worldwide. In this regard, a two-day “AIIMS - ACCP Workshop on BASIC AND ADVANCED SLEEP MEDICINE” is being organized on 29th - 30th January, 2015 involving eminent foreign and National Tutors. This will be an extensive lecture based plus hands on workshop for comprehensive skill acquisition in managing sleep disorders.
